Hello! Join me for a morning walk in town – city of Chania!
When coming down from Akrotiri, we have this most beautiful view over the whole town!
We continue our way down towards the center of town …
… parking …
… and we are ready to meet the morning in Chania …
Behind the trees is the Market place but as you can see this time there is lots of traffic and busses, so I couldn’t take best photos. Today you see the everyday life in town.
It’s nice to have a walk in town – have a coffee in a street ‘cafeteria’ looking around the life of town! But I think now we are ready to return to the village …
… and to the beach!

Welcome to have the most delicious lunch in fish restaurant in ‘Marathi!
This view is on our way to Marathi – Souda Bay.
Marathi has the most wonderful sandy beach – in fact two bays. This is the beach on the left side …
And the beach on the right side …
After having a wonderful time on the beach – it’s time to eat! Let’s go to enjoy the best and most delicous sea food!
This great fish restaurant is only few steps from the sand!
And finally the food is coming …
… fried curchettes, local greens, cretan salad …
… octapus, small fishes, kalamaris … and my favorite the grilled cattle fish …
I hope you enjoyed this special lunch and the beautiful view …

After having the best time on the beach – sun and swim – it’s time to have delicious food! One of the best summer taste is ‘Stuffed tomatoes and paprikas’! Καλη ορεξη! Good appetite!
And then in the evening … perhaps a lovely walk in the Venetian Harbour in Chania …
